The Liceo de Cagayan University Titans of Cagayan de Oro wrapped up a strong campaign in the SMART-NBTC Mindanao Regional Championship after finishing runner-up, bowing to RSY Group of Companies of Davao City, 60–75, in the finals held at the Bayfront Arena in Oroquieta City. Despite the loss, Liceo had already secured a spot in the National Finals scheduled in March at the MOA Arena in Pasay City. Adding to the team’s achievement, Titans standout Micoh Kurt Idulsa earned a place in the tournament’s Mythical Five, highlighting Liceo’s impressive showing in the regional tournament.
