Security forces led by the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB 10) recovered firearms and improvised explosive device (IED) components in Barangay Concepcion, Valencia City, Bukidnon at around 12:20 p.m. on January 9, 2026, following information from a former rebel. The seized items included an M16 rifle, 44 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, three short steel magazines, and two steel containers containing various IED components. A Quick Reaction Team was immediately deployed to secure the area and ensure the safe recovery of the materials. Authorities said security operations are ongoing to prevent threats and maintain peace and order in the community.
