The lights at J.P. Roa Park in the municipality of Balingasag were temporarily switched off at around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, as a safety precaution after a large tree branch broke and posed a risk to the public. The situation was immediately addressed by the LGU-Balingasag, led by Municipal Administrator Vicente Demosthenes S. Quina, in coordination with Edwin F. Ipan of the LDRRMO and personnel from MORESCO 2, who conducted the necessary response and safety measures.
