Two alleged drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Punta Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City, around 1:52 AM on August 13, 2025. Identified only as “Ayan,” 38, and his live-in partner “Margaux,” 28—both residents of Macabalan—the suspects were caught with three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 150 grams, worth about ₱1.02 million, along with buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia.
Police say “Ayan,” who is under probation for a previous drug case, is a known supplier in the area. Both are now in custody and face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Authorities urge the public to report suspicious activities to help combat the drug trade.
