Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo administered the oath of office to Jeoffre Willkom Acebido, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 41 in Cagayan de Oro City, as the newest Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals on April 14, 2025. Appointed on February 24, 2025, Justice Acebido has been RTC judge for 16 years. A recipient of the Chief Justice Cayetano Arellano Award for Judicial Excellence, he also served as a prosecutor, Public Attorney, and senior legal officer at the Commission on Human Rights. He succeeds retired CA Justice Victoria Isabel A. Paredes. Congratulations!
