Four motorcycles were impounded, and one suspect was arrested as authorities intensified their crackdown on illegal drag racing in Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City on Friday night, March 14. The operation was carried out jointly by the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office Station 4 in Carmen, led by Police Maj. Mario Mantala, in coordination with City Hall’s Regulatory Compliance Board (RCB), the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) and the Barangay Council of Kauswagan headed by Barangay Captain Janjan Lim.
Meanwhile, several others were issued a citation ticket and ordinance violation receipt (OVR) for violating a city ordinance prohibiting the drinking of liquor in public places.
