Construction of the Gingoog Coastal Road Project is set to begin soon with an approved budget of P386 million for two packages for a total length of one kilometer covering the section along the coast of Barangay Lunao. During the recent pre-bid conference by DPWH, Project Contract IDs 25K00206 (500 meters – Package 1) and 25K00207 (500 meters – Package 2) each have a cost of P193 million, with target completion of 375 days. Reclamation will be undertaken for the project.
Below is the alignment of the coastal road project as presented during the pre-bid conference. The project begins just after Badiangon Water Park, where a 240-meter road opening is planned, although funding for this section has not yet been secured. We still don’t have the alignment of the entire stretch of the coastal road. The approved project starts as highlighted below.
