A Christmas gift for the elderly – Senior citizens can now avail of their 20% discount on medicines without the need to present a purchase booklet. This after Health Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa signed Administrative Order (AO) No. 2024-0017, which removes the booklet requirement, making the process more convenient. This amendment updates provisions of AO No. 2010-0032 and AO No. 2012-0007, ensuring easier access to this benefit.
