Cagayan de Oro’s Nick Anjelo Payla secured a dominant victory over Kim Jihoon of South Korea via unanimous decision in the 50-kg division, advancing in the Under-19 World Boxing Championships at the Pueblo Convention Center in Colorado, USA. Payla is set to face John-Thomas Varey of England in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 29.
