The 4.6-kilometer Consolacion-Kauswagan Bridge and Access Road Project will have the proposed third iconic bridge that will span Cagayan de Oro River as presented by Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Director Zenaida T. Tan during today’s the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas held at the DPWH-10 Regional Office.
We don’t know if the alignment previously released remains the same. From Kauswagan Highway (Petron), the Access Road will utilize the existing NHA Phase 3 Road then towards Eagle Street (STI) crossing RN Pelaez Blvd then towards John the Baptist Street and crossing the river to Consolacion.
This project will ease the traffic congestion of both Marcos Bridge (BCIR) and Puntod-Kauswagan Bridge.
