The isolation walls are now removed revealing the almost done new Operation Kahusay ug Kalinaw (OKK) Center (Resilience Building) at Magsaysay Park in Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City. The project is part of Phase 1 of Project Lunhaw which aims to redevelop the park into a ‘walkable and bikable’ heritage park, while retaining its historical value. Photos by Engr Nonito Oclarit.
As shown below, the glass facade is already installed while interior works are now in the final stages.
As disclosed, the OKK Center will house offices of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA).
