Cagayan de Oro City’s Task Group Demolition will be including sidewalks being used as part of parking areas in their clearing operations. In his Facebook post, Task Force head Atty. Jose Edgardo Uy said this is in compliiance with the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2022-085 (Implementation of Road Clearing in the New Normal) and Executive Order No. 024-2023 (Reconstituting the Task Group Demolition) issued by Mayor Rolando A. Uy.
Atty Uy then posted sample photos of parking areas encroaching portions of sidewalks.
