Former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go are now ‘Adopted Sons of Cagayan de Oro” by virtue of separate City Council Resolutions recognizing their contributions to the development of Cagayan de Oro City and the country—Go for his establishment of two ‘Malasakit’ centers in the city and Duterte for his ‘Build, Build, Build’ infrastructure program, his war against crime and the country’s COVID-19 response campaign. Both were feted during the luncheon event held at Limketkai Luxe Hotel earlier today, March 23 and attended by Cagayan de Oro City officials led by City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy and Misamis Oriental Gov. Peter Unabia Sr.
